What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as your login session.
How We Use Cookies
Quorum uses a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the service:
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in while you use the app. This is a strictly necessary cookie and cannot be disabled.
- CSRF token — protects your account from cross-site request forgery attacks. Also strictly necessary.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that identify you personally.
Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Quorum app uses your browser's local storage to remember which study profile you have selected. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe sets cookies to detect fraud and ensure secure checkout. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers; Google may log requests. See Google's privacy policy.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in to Quorum. For other cookies, your browser's help documentation explains how to manage them.
